Students are headed back to school with some great new supplies...

Linda Standifer, Victims' Advocate for Jasper County District Attorney's Office, donated school supplies to the St. James AME Church to assist with their Back to School giveaway. She also made a stop by the Jasper County Primary School to donate supplies for their returning students. As a long standing citizen in the community, Ms. Standifer always goes above and beyond her call of duty to assist those in need. A special thanks to the Tri-County EMC Foundation and the Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit Domestic Violence Task Force for funding and distributing these supplies.

Kudos to Ashley Duvall, Morgan County Victims’ Advocate, for spending her Saturday morning giving out school supplies at the Back to School Rally held at the Morgan County High School on July 23. School-age children were invited to attend and receive free supplies and backpacks. This is an annual event that is sponsored by the Morgan County Family Connection. A special thanks to Dr. Velde Hardy for the invite and to the Tri-County EMC Foundation for the funding of the supplies.

The Baldwin County District Attorney’s Office Victims’ Assistance Program kicked off the school year with a bang. Partnering with the Baldwin County Family Connection, Jackie Watts and Robbie Hill spent July 16th at the Collins P. Lee Center with several other local organizations giving out school supplies. The event, titled "Christmas in July," brought children from near and far and Santa Claus even made an appearance to take pictures with the kids. A special thanks to the Tri-County EMC Foundation and the Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit Domestic Violence Task Force for funding and distributing these supplies.

Victims' Advocate, Nancy Gordon, set up a supply station at our Jones County location at the Government Center. There are some supplies left on the table for students to pick up as needed.
