Special Prosecutor appointed for Jones County RICO case

As your district attorney I am committed to using any and all resources available to keep our community safe. This afternoon I appointed John Regan as a special prosecutor to handle a complex Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) case. John is employed with the Prosecuting Attorney's Council, and specializes in the area of RICO and gang prosecution. A big thank goes out to John and to the Jones County Sheriff's Office for helping keep Jones County safe.
