Jones County Conviction

On March 30, 2023, a Jones County Jury found Michael Anthony Lester guilty of one count of Rape and one count of Aggravated Child Molestation. On April 6, 2023, Lester was sentenced by Honorable Terry N. Massey to life with the first thirty-five (35) years to be served in prison. The case was tried by Assistant District Attorney, Cara R. Fiore. John Simmons with the Jones County Sheriff's Office was the Investigator that investigated the case.
