Greene County Conviction

On Wednesday, March 15th, a Greene County jury took less than an hour to convict Tyrus Johnson of one count of statutory rape and one count of child molestation for the sexual abuse of a young family member. Judge Terry N. Massey sentenced Johnson to forty years with the first thirty to be served in prison. When released, Johnson will be required to register as a sex offender.
