Booze convicted of Aggravated Assault

Keith Antonio Booze, Jr. was convicted of three counts of Aggravated Assault on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 for shooting at an occupied residence where his ex-girlfriend and members of her family were staying. Booze was sentenced to 60 years with the first 30 years to be served in confinement and banished from Jones County.

The prosecution was led by Assistant District Attorney Faith D. Worley. The DA’s office is grateful for the work of Victims’ Advocate Nancy Gordon and the Jones County Sheriff’s Office as well as for the assistance of members of the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office who testified at trial.
