March is Literacy Appreciation Month

March is Literacy Appreciation Month. This month we are using our Awareness Tree located in the Jones County Government Center to help promote literacy. We have decorated the tree with books that are free to the public; right now the tree is filled with mostly children books.

We are accepting donations of books to help keep the tree filled all month long. We ask that if you have any gently used books that you would like to donate that you deliver them to our Victims' Advocate, Nancy J. Gordon, at the District Attorney's Office. We are accepting books for all ages because reading is important at all stages of life.

Take a book and read!!!!
